Tiles and octagons...

I managed to get on the laser cutter and start to cut the tiles to fill the space in the middle of which i intend to paint different colours. However i found that with the time i had on the laser cutter and the amount of wood i could fit inside there was no way i could cut as many as i need. So would have to cut some by hand.... about 60 approx. They look amazing and cant wait to see them printed.

After much thought of how i can stencil the octagon shapes i decide to cut a 6 shapes and use them as a stencil, having to move the shapes as i moved along the board. Some bits have faded in to others but i could cover this with the tiles....also at this stage i have finished the top of the head. Looking beaut! need sanding and painting but looking ready for the top.
