In the end and after speaking to Mel, Phil and Ben i changed the colours in photoshop to give them a more pastel tonal range, which i think worked really well. Also i really felt that the bottom needed some grounding as it doesn't really have any feet. So i plonked some cloud and smoke to give the feeling it is rooted to something.
