Plant Architecture... cheese grater homes

Wanted to develop the plants i had already had drawn into homes for the characters, had the idea that the homes would be smaller for the creatures living amongst the floor and the larger creatures would be constant walkers, to sleep they would become the trees and sort of skyscrapers of the world. I like this image and could be great as as narrative print as you can gain a sense of activity at what is going on. What i could do to develop this further is add the the small creatures doing a variety of different human like actions such as mowing the lawn or adults playing with their children...
