Colour!!

Print one - Jelly fish Umbrella....

Here is the process of adding color to a selection of my drawings that i have chosen for print. What i did here was to outline the main imagery then wash over the background with water and ink. The faborino paper really helps by being thick enough to withstand heavy amounts of water. With this print i wanted to give the effect it was raining...
 Print Two - Jellyfish Island...

I think my only problem i have with this design is that in some places it may be a bit too dark, where i have washed over with too much ink. However through talking with peers and tutorials it seems it works well anyway. I like the drippyness to the underside, as i wanted this to be the main focus.
Print Three - Hurn stumpy guy...

I felt that this drawing had to be involved with my prints as it was the first image that kicked it all off. I thought to put it in a oval would frame the shape of the creature. With a horizon running through the bottom, i reckon this could work well as a t-shirt something i would need to explore.
Print Four - Priest dude...

This i felt was the hardest to get right with the tonal range as with the others. I wanted the image to look like it was floating through, looking magical and i think i got the next i will add the outline in black as i will with all the other images above.
